The Society for Northwestern Vertebrate Biology is a community of professionals devoted to the study of vertebrate ecology in the Pacific Northwest. We developed a subscription based membership system which allows new members to easily sign up online, and existing members to pay their membership fee automatically with recurring payments. Using WordPress, the user account functionality was able to adapt to the ecommerce system, allowing The SNVB to sell private membership access as a service. Now members can manage their account and subscription online, and The SNVB can manage their members using customized tools in the content management system.
