The Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers (APRL) is an organization of law professionals across the United States and Canada. Members of APRL provide advice to lawyers on legal ethics issues, defend lawyers in discipline matters or civil malpractice cases, act as expert witnesses, teach professional responsibility courses in law schools or perform ethics-related functions in law firms.
The site is built upon the WordPress framework using a responsive template to look great on all browsers and devices. The site was converted from an outdated CMS with the aid of custom-built conversion scripts. Through the use of several integrated plugins, APRL members can register for conferences, renew their membership dues, and participate in forum discussions all through the site interface. Furthermore, custom coding allows for members to reply to forum emails directly, encouraging membership participation in forum topics. An extensive database of previous meeting notes enables members to search for information that may be pertinent to their current cases and areas of interest.
