Watermelon Web Works uses a holistic approach to search engine optimization. Your website can be more than just a place to gather new business. In addition to increasing the number of visitors to your site, we help you to build your site into a useful tool for customer service and education. This leads to return visits from customers, word-of-mouth referrals to your site, and most importantly, qualified traffic coming to your site -- visitors who will take action to purchase your products or services.

The following is a brief outline of our promotion process:
  1. Research of relevant and current key word phrases to target - Wordtracker is about the best in the industry.
  2. Analysis of the website's current search engine standing, web presence and market competition.
  3. Optimization of website for more prominent search engine placement, visitor appeal and usability.
  4. Research and implementation of appropriate reciprocal links for your industry to increase link popularity (ongoing).
  5. Implement pay-per-click advertising campaigns if necessary.
  6. Ongoing monitoring/analysis using analytics software.
  7. Ongoing recommendations for keeping content competitive and new promotion opportunities specific to your market.
Just as the web is a quickly and constantly evolving resource, your website needs to stay active and up-to-date. Our job is to stay current with these changes and inform your marketing decisions appropriately. Our co-creative process involves you from the beginning, so that you will learn web marketing techniques and be empowered to continue the marketing process yourself over time. After our initial assessment and optimization of your site, we will remain available to work with you on future campaigns and coding updates to the site.

Since marketing your website is such an ongoing process, we don't offer packages that imply that it can be completed in one afternoon, and then leave you to wonder if your investment will pay off. Instead we charge a low hourly fee and remain with you through the changes and challenges of the evolving world of internet marketing. To give you an idea of what to expect, most of our clients spend $1500 to $1800 for the initial marketing overhaul (steps 1 through 4 above) followed by $300-$600 per month thereafter, depending on how aggressive a campaign is required.

We recognize that each website we market is as unique as the business it serves to promote - your marketing plan with Watermelon Web Works will reflect this. Just think of us as your personal website PR team.

Pricing and Fee Structure: As each project we work on is as unique as the business behind it, Watermelon Web Works does not offer package rates. We generally charge per project or at a standard hourly rate for our services. We invoice monthly with itemized statements, and for larger projects, ask for a 25% deposit.
